The title is a part of a danish phrase ”Tage skeen i den anden hånd” a word for word translation is ”Shift the spoon to the other hand”. I have looked up translations for english phrases with a similar content 1: Turn over a new leaf 2: The boot must be put on the other foot 3: Take another line.
The spoons I call ”the other hand” (”Skeer til den anden hånd”) is made from wood where the grain is twisted and curved in more directions. The result is spoons without symmetry. It is spoons with a strong will, I have to follow the path the wood lay out. The result is very special spoons.
